Olentangy Schools Bus Driver Accused of Breaking Student’s Finger

An Olentangy Schools bus driver is charged for allegedly breaking a student’s finger, according to officials and public records.

According to an incident report from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to Olentangy Orange High School for a reported assault that happened Tuesday morning.

The 15 year old student is represented by student rights attorney, Emmanuel Olawale.

“The bus driver gave him instructions to put on his seatbelt,” says Olawale. “Because he is autistic, he wasn’t able to understand the bus driver, so the driver proceeded to lay his hand on my client to force him to wear his seatbelt.”
